It just sounds like its name. Eclectic: insanely-innovative, radical and futuristic.
The Venturi Eclectic is a first of its kind: an electro-solar autonomous vehicle so-called because it uses solar, wind, and electricity as fuel. In result, it has low consumption and absolutely no emission in fact making the Toyota Prius, one of the leading electric-gasoline hybrid cars of today, look like a gas-guzzling car by comparison.
This three-seater compact relies on a combination of solar panels, wind turbines, and electric recharging. So just park your car, do your thing, pull out the wind turbines and they will just generate energy from a healthy breeze. The solar panels, as they are expected to do, will absorb and store solar energy for future usage. The plugins for the electric charging is just a stellar addition. But with or without it, you can have all the power you need for the car just from the first two sources.
Drivers intend to be “consumers” when it comes to fuel. But with the Eclectic, we can now produce the energy we use for the vehicle itself.
As the company says, “This is not an ordinary car, but an avant-garde way of getting around.”
